Net International Reserves – November 2025

BOJ has reported that Jamaica’s Net International Reserves as at November 30, 2025, stood at US$6,121.88 million, reflecting a decrease of US$5.96 million when compared to the US$6,127.85 million reported at the end of October 2025.

Foreign Assets totalled US$6,144.33 million, US$5.96 million less than the US$6,150.29 million reported in October 2025.

‘Currency & Deposits’ held by the BOJ as at November 30, 2025, totalled US$3,416.69 million, reflecting a decrease of US$8.03 million compared to the US$3,424.72 million reported in October 2025.

‘Securities’ were valued at US$2,485.36 million; US$14.17 million more than the US$2,471.19 million reported at the end of October 2025. The country’s Special Drawing Rights decreased to US$205.12 million relative to the US$217.22 million recorded a month prior.

‘IMF Reserve Position’ increased to US$37.16 million from the US$37.15 million reported last month. There was no change in Liabilities to the IMF which equated to US$22.44 million.

Presently, the country’s foreign exchange reserves are US$713.37 million, or 13.19% more than the US$5,408.51 million held by the BOJ at the end of November 2024. The current NIR supports approximately 50.66 weeks of goods imports and 31.63 weeks of goods and services imports.
