Scotia Group Jamaica Limited (SGJ) has advised that by Formal Order dated July 15, 2026, the Supreme Court of Jamaica, granted Scotia Group Jamaica Limited (SGJ) liberty, pursuant to section 206 of the Companies Act, 2004, to convene separate meetings of holders of ordinary stock units in the capital of SGJ for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, approving, with or without modification, the proposed Scheme of Arrangement involving SGJ, Scotiabank Caribbean Holdings Ltd. and the other holders of ordinary stock units in SGJ. The Company has further advised that SGJ will issue formal meeting notices and provide further updates in accordance with its applicable disclosure obligations.
